My baby slept 4 hours straight today and I honestly didn’t know what to do with myself
Yesterday I was at my breaking point. Three months of trying every single sleep schedule I could find online… and none of them worked. My baby cried, I watched the clock, and I felt like I was running a marathon I couldn’t finish.
This morning, I decided to ditch all the “rules” and just follow his lead. We played for a bit, he smiled, rested his head on my shoulder… and then fell asleep. Four straight hours.
For the first time since he was born, I sat in my kitchen, drank my coffee slowly, and just cried.
I don’t know if this was a one-off or the start of something new… but today, I finally felt like I could keep going.
Parents, do you remember the first time your baby slept longer than usual? How did it feel?
