I think that this could mainly depend on how you believe Darius got his abomination form in the first place and whether or not that would apply to Amity. As I mentioned in another post, although I haven’t yet found an actual source, I’ve seen a few comments saying that Dana Terrace once stated that Darius achieved his abomination form through a ”dark sacrifice” of some kind and that Amity would have gotten hers in this manner if she had been present for Luz’s death in W&D. However, if this ultimately isn’t true, then I think that the next best explanation could be that it’s simply another (albeit extremely difficult) ability that any witch who’s gifted and/or skilled enough with abomination magic can use.

Personally, I prefer to go with the latter option and, as a result, I could see Amity perhaps eventually learning how to turn into an abomination form like Darius at some point, since she definitely seems talented enough with abomination magic by the end of the show for it to be possible. This could even be supported by how she uses abomination magic in a more natural manner like Darius, rather than using it in a more mechanical fashion like her father.

That said, I do have an idea for how Amity could gain an abomination form through a “dark sacrifice”, albeit in a different way than what I think most people would have in mind. As I’ve mentioned in another post, I have ideas for a story about Amity being insecure of her future and identity, with her temporarily regressing back into her desperate need to prove herself. Perhaps, at an early point in the story, she could rush to try to achieve an abomination form after learning that it’s the most powerful ability that an abomination witch can accomplish. However, as a result of pushing herself too hard, she could not only fail to achieve it but also wind up straining her bile sac and leaving herself unable to use magic for most of the story. This could even be revisited later at the climax of the story where, after having overcome her insecurities and gradually regained her strength throughout it, Amity could try again to achieve an abomination form and actually succeed this time. However, since my story takes place during the timeskip in W&D, it might be important to emphasise how difficult this ability would be for her to use. For instance, Amity could perhaps only grow slightly taller, rather than almost tripling in size like Darius, and she could be shown to be exhausted after later turning back to normal.

But what are your thoughts? How do you think Darius got his abomination form and, whatever the case, could you see Amity gaining one too?

Could you see Amity gaining an abomination form like Darius?
