does anyone have experience modding borderlands 2 on heroic launcher?

i've found a tutorial on how to mod the game through steam but i cant see anything on how to do it on heroic launcher, i have no dlc on my steam copy so very little mods will even work let alone have full range of content, when modding the steam version a step is to apply a launch code before starting to make the python sdk work, but there's already a launch code for when i add the game to steam, is there a launch code that's able to be used in the heroic launcher?
