Can I cancel my on-campus housing assignment?

I got back my assignment as a rising sophomore but I’m considering switching to off campus housing. Is this something that is even possible at this point, I understand I would lose the deposit but am I still responsible for paying for on campus housing.

If anyone has any possible ideas lmk, I just lowk don’t wanna live on campus anymore.
