I got two warnings in Indiana for substances?

Location: Indiana M 20: I got pulled over two hours ago because I smoked my nicotine vape in front of a cop while driving. I had one nicotine vape and one THC disposable vape on me. I use weed because of some anxiety and sleeping issues, which is what I told the cop and he let me off with two warnings. He didn’t conduct a sobriety test and let me on my way. Is two warnings a thing and is it a thing for substances? Or will be getting a ticket in the mail?
