Attempted Suic!de on Freeport Bridge?

Does anyone know any details on this?

All I know is I overheard someone at work mention that there was a man that attempted to k!ll himself by jumping off the bridge. It's not a tall bridge so he tried to tie heavy stuff to his body but something came undone and he failed.
