Can you mix yeast?

I don’t see why not, but I’m an amateur. I want to use a yeast with some good esters for a big batch but also want it to end around 18% and be as dry as possible (I don’t like sweet wines/meads too much. Can I use EC-1118 or whatever the high one is with another one for better flavor contribution?
