It's hard to stay patient with this game when....

As I've been TRYING to move inland the last 3 times I've logged on....and EVERY TIME I've logged on, within 5 minutes it's PISSING down the rain, and after 20 minutes of non stop rain, I just say to he'll with it and log off. Any way to avoid this? Because it's BEYOND ducking annoying at this point.
