MO Teachers of Reddit: What is your experience with MO DESE’s Missouri Option Program?

I’m looking for feedback regarding this program. I’ve recently taken in a family member’s older teen that meets the requirements for this program. This upcoming school year is what should be their senior year and, credit wise, they are 2 years behind.

If you’ve still had contact with these students post completing the program requirements, do you feel that they were adequately prepared to move on towards a meaningful career - whether it was attending college, going to a trade school, or even entrepreneurship?
