Can you still pay with cash on the COTA bus?

I know this is a dumb question but it's been literally 20 years sinc either rode a COTA bus, and I have weird social anxiety (touch of the tism) and like to plan stuff out ahead...so do people still use cash to pay on the bus and how weird or inconvenient is that for everyone? Like will paying with cash slow the flow of the bus down?

I'm wanting to do a park and ride thing to save on cost of parking but im unusually nervous!
