Broadening assignments

What do you guys recommend for a broadening assignment? I’m ashamed to say i only know that recruiter and DS are the main ones. Is there any more? I like the idea of being an AIT instructor or a recruiter (despite all the bad things they say about it).

I’m just working to become a better nco and would like a drop a packet in the next year to something outside of my MOS.

Also how do people get into working at MEPS from active duty, is it a specific mos that gets to work there or an assigned duty type of thing? Like i said just trying to get my self out there and do something different than being in the motorpool my whole career.
