AITAH for letting Michael Fassbender ruin a hook up?

So I’m crashing out over this. I’m 20 (f) and this guy I was hooking up with is 21 (m). This man’s name, for privacy reasons, is gonna be Jake.

I’ve been on 4 dates with this guy. He has not ONCE been over since I’m honestly a bit embarrassed by my decoration. I have a world of x-men posters, figures, and comics EVERYWHERE. And the worst of it all is an American flag of Michael Fassbender that my roommate gave me as a gag gift that I put above my bed as a joke.

I finally invited Jake over on a whim after the bar and he gave me the craziest look ever… it felt like he was about to tell everyone I was a witch or something, I’m talking the stare you give someone when they’ve betrayed you. GUYS HE POINTED AT THE FLAG AND WENT, “Really.”

REALLY?! Is that all? I just laughed it off and was like, “Oh yeah, Magneto, am I right?” Cause I wanted to be causal and funny with it, but he just LEFT?! I can’t even make it up, he walked out. And what happens next?? I get a text from Jake and he’s flat out accusing me of not being interested in him because “the man” on my wall looks nothing like him. He’s calling me a jerk and saying that I wanted him to see the flag to know he wasn’t really my type. And now I just feel bad, because that wasn’t the intention, and I really don’t want to mess things up.

Am I actually the jerk here? Like what do I even do to fix this cause I really like this guy.
