My 5 week old hates bath time. Screams bloody murder.

Should I feed before bathtime? My LO is exclusively breastfed. I would like to feed after bathtime. At bathtime I know he’s hungry because I usually feed at 6 to then feed by 8:30 after bath time. But he screams bloody murder. Won’t take a pacifier to soothe. What’s y’all’s thoughts? Does it get better as they get older? I want him to always feed a lot before bed to stretch the time he’s asleep.
