Broke college student looking for first used car

Hi, as the title says. I'm currently in school and I'm looking to buy a first car that will last me farily reliably for at least 2-3 years before I get a job and can afford something nicer. My current budget is anywhere from $3k-$4.5k. What brands and models should I keep an eye for? I live in TX
