How do I keep my relationship with my son

My son is currently being diagnosed with Schizophrenia. To give you an insight to how this came about

• He lived with mum & dad till 4yrs
• He lived with mum 4yr - 10yr
• Moved with Dad 10yr - 14yrs His father was physically abusive. He ran away to child protection at 14 and a judge ruled that he was allowed independent living because his friends, girlfriend, job and sports dedications.

He is now 17.

His girlfriend cheated on him and so he accused her of raping him. He still talks to her as a mate. He accused her father, a female carer and his grandmother - all of rape.

I flew to visit him. He was on meds for 6 months by this time. He told me

• the devil speaks to him
• he has to sacrifice animals
• he sacrificed a rabbit. Kept its tail for good luck
• he needs to sacrifice a goat next 06 December 2022
• he will need to sacrifice a total of eight animals with the same knife

After 6 days with him. He really started to open up to me. I had just gained his trust. I told his case worker what I was worried about that I had heard.

They told him everything at the hospital and now he hates me again.

Will he get better? Now he can't trust anyone again, will he trust the voice in his head more? I can only imagine what he's going through.
