I have a FNAF theory:

Let's see, starting with, there are versions of Helpy in FNAF Secret of the Mimic, being technology created with rudimentary technology, how do we know it didn't exist before? So basically my theory starts with that just as Edwin Murray unleashed his fury on Mimic and he imitated it, something similar would happen with Helpy, he would develop a dark mind, thus deceiving and manipulating William into killing the children since with their souls and the remnant he could become the supreme Helpy (or feel alive, I like the first version better). Then in FNAF 2 he would be in the pizzeria, only in the darkness causing the glitches in the Toys so they attack the guard and thus get more souls and remnant. The same in FNAF 1, he would be in the shadows watching how his "heralds" try to kill the guard. In FNAF 3 he wouldn't appear since I thought William could do it alone.

In 4, he was there, in the shadows, transferring his consciousness to a digital one, more or less like Lolbit. In FNAF 6, he appears directly, since he manipulated Michael and Henry into letting him work there to prevent them from killing the wildlings, since he could obtain their souls and remnants and also Michael and Henry's. The worst part is that this theory could continue, but after FNAF 6, I don't remember what game it's next, and I don't remember much of the lore.
