Is this fair?

Dental Professional

Asking on behalf of a colleague who doesn’t have Reddit. She is considering between a few job offers. One looks particularly interesting with a small DSO (2 offices, buying a new office in the town she lives) where, in addition to general dentistry, they heavily advertise their all-on-X full arch zirconia restorations.

They’re offering her 32% of collections with no lab fees and flat fee of $1500 for each full arch she completes. However, they’re saying for each arch, they’ll remove $750 for lab fees so effectively she’s getting compensated $750 for each arch. However, a quick google search on their website shows they’re charging $17.5K for a single arch and $32.9K for full mouth. I know lab fees for implants and full arch zirconia restorations can be expensive but she thinks it’s a bit excessive. There’s also a 10 mile radius non compete which covers most of the city. She plans on negotiating to bring it down to 2-3 miles but she wanted to ask you lovely folks if she should push back on the lab fee, considering her take home is less than 5% of what they’re charging the patient.

Thanks so much!
