Is taking minerals from bases around the world wrong?

Well there I was, it took me 3 hours to build an Indium motor and travel to a system where I can connect it myself (And of course check many special bases to see if any of them sold at least one ore to produce more)

Since I had several quests asking me for something (besides my settlement)

And I came to a base that was called "gold farm" in German and had a collector with 14,000 indium

And I just take it... It's wrong?

I just want to apologize to this guy/girl for taking his indium but it was several hours...
