Doll Hairdressing

Hello! I recently purchased a Princess Diana porcelain figure with hair. The head sculpt is great, but the hair is almost cartoonishly huge on her head. The hair is puffy and doesn’t look much like any haircut Princess Diana ever had. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do besides trying to cut the dolls hair myself? I’m not good with scissors, and I’m very uncomfortable with the idea of trying to cut her hair. I live in the central Ohio area for reference. Thanks in advance!
