Is there a way for me to find out if my (29f) husband (40m) is hiding things from me that would end our marriage?
I am so lost on what I should do. Our marriage has been tumultuous, but I really do love him. However, I have caught him in the past doing things online that deeply hurt me. I do my best to be a good wife to him. I'm not perfect by any means, but I really do try. I left my life behind in another country to be with him. He has had gambling, anger, drug issues in the past, but has resolved these for the most part, except for the anger. He has cheated on previous girlfriends and wife. Not all, but some when he was younger. I truly don't believe he has on me. Well, I don't know. I'm second guessing myself now. When things are good, he really seems like he loves me and does treat me well. I can't talk to him about these things as they always end in an explosive fight and leaves me more hurt than before. I've tried being gentle and soft, it doesn't work. Every conversation ends with me being kicked out of the room/house/etc and screamed at. He does try to make it up to me in his way after but still.
He doesn't tell me much about his day, but he is the kind of man who is gruff with everyone. He seems to enjoy my company, he comes home at the same time every day and hangs out with me all day/every day on days off, after work etc even though I encourage him to go out with friends and family..
I don't check his phone, he has it locked as do I. We respect each other's privacy that way and I've also lost my phone more than once so I keep a code on it now. I guess my question is, is there any way I can find out if I am truly being paranoid, or if there really is something? During our relationship he has deactivated/deleted his main social media accounts, but I am unsure if he has alternate ones.
