No way to add custom segments to Campaign level audiance.

So i've been looking for hours on here and it seems in the previous UI version of google ads had the button right below the "browse" at the bottom or you could search for your custom segment name and add it. Neither work for me.

Wish I could upload a picture but I have my 2 custom segments made in audience manager they are both eligible. but under my campaigns, in Audience. I click

edit audience segments , and nowhere anyway is the option to upload my custom search terms, i can only pick from the pre determined affinities and in market keywords . WTF am i doing wrong?
