are these good specs?

Im new to customizing, I like video games (although i dont play them obsessively) and I do debate and if you dont already know, the files get thousands of pages long on word and I always have a LOT of tabs open, which uses a LOT of ram, are these good specs for what i want to do?

also, im spending 1.6k so i want to know if this is worth it at all because it's a lot of money for me.
