Do I need to be verified to use Sezzle spend?

The app messed up when I tried to verify myself. I have over $50 in Sezzle spend and I’m trying to use it on Walmart. I can’t get a virtual card since I can’t verify myself. Will it just automatically take out whatever I have in Sezzle spend or will it use my actual debit card? I don’t see an option to use it on Walmart checkout.
