Attempt #2
I am going to be starting my second attempt on Monday 8/18. Last time I started was 6/1 and I made it 22 days and saw significant progress in my weight and overall energy level, but I succumbed to the classic excuses of summer events such as weddings, grad parties, travel for work. However, I do think that first fail has better prepared me for this attempt to be a success. Last time, I did not have enough documented set diet details and I believe that lack of concrete details led to me failing as well. This time I will be following a strict diet and be disciplined about being in a caloric deficit, to help ensure I reach my weight loss goals. I will be taking the weekend to enjoy some of my favorite sweets, but I have already began ramping up my exercise and water intake, so that these components are not shocks to my system as they were last time.
To help achieve caloric deficit daily, I am likely going to be not eating dinner. I have been diving into some research about the importance of fasting for a few hours prior to going to bed to help ensure better sleep, so I am leaning towards this approach. However, however this will definitely lead to me wanting to eat a larger breakfast. What do you guys think about the pros and cons to this approach?
