Vision Changes

Hello,

When I got my drivers license at 17 I was easily able to pass my vision test. However, at 21 my vision changed and I wonder if it’s because of having online school during Covid (staring at screens all day, every day) and rarely going outside in the sun. I now need glasses while driving according to my eye doctor (it says SPH -1.00). Is a change in eye vision within a short time normal? And how can I prevent my vision from getting worse? I’m very worried that every year it will keep getting worse.
