Additional Ways To Get AA Miles

So, I am about 150 miles short that I need to purchase a flight. Are there any surveys or any additional ways to earn miles besides shopping online & flying? I really don’t want to purchase the 2,000 minimum when I only need 150. Any info. is appreciated.
