Used 07 civic, upgrades

I just got my first civic and it had some minor things I wanna upgrade. I’ve never made any upgrades to a car before so I have no idea what’s good or not. The rearview mirror is pealing/cracking apart, what would be a good replacement for it? Also my peddles are incredibly worn down and are almost all metal, any suggestions on replacements?
