My ex is being offered a plea deal

I’m the victim in this case. Long story short I had to put a restraining order on my ex and when I was pregnant due to him being abusive and threatening harm. He then violated it by breaking into the home at night, threw me on the ground, took my phone from me and hung up on 911, strangled me and I peed my pants while my other kids are hiding in the shower listening to it all. He then fled the scenes. Police got there and we thought I was in labor, they stayed with my older kids poor things, until my parents arrived. I on the other hand was rushed to the hospital and induced due to high blood pressure and gave birth to a 4 pound baby that was rushed to the Nicu a day later.he was arrested and charged with three felonies and 2 misdemeanors. Which includes strangulation, breaking and entering, violation of order of protection, aggravated battery on a household member and communication cut off. We have a lot of evidence stacked against him literally everything but a video of him doing it. Basically he is facing a maximum of 15 years for all charges gave him a 45 day to plea three years prison five years probation. It is past that 45 day window. The DA has not heard from his defense at all. We have a pre-trial conference next Wednesday. I am really hoping that he takes the plea, but if I have to take the stand and testify against him I am completely ready to do that, but I feel like he would be a fool to go to trial, especially when there was a baby born right after and the nurses took notes of all my bruises on my neck and body that night Was the witness testimony for my children to the police and the 911 call of me telling him to get out of the house before he took it and hung up then we also have text messages months after telling my mom that he’s gonna take full responsibility for what he did to this family. I just was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this as far as taking a plea or risking trial I’m very anxious about it all Thank you in advance!!!
