Is PayPal broken or am I retarded?

Hello I'm trying to figure out the only use for PayPal and I can't seem to figure it out How do I add money to my PayPal account? This is insane that I can't find it in the UI and that I even need to Google in the first place. And the solutions on Google to not solve anything

How does one add money from a debit card into PayPal? I don't have a way to see balance, I don't have a way to see wallets, I don't have a button that says add funds. So what's the issue ? I thought this was 99% of PayPal's purpose
