Stacey/New York?

What kind of storylines do y’all think could’ve happened if Stacey had had a similar spinoff to California Diaries and moved back to NYC? For high school, not still in middle school. I’m not saying it’s a plot line I would’ve wanted or that it’s a decision she realistically would’ve made, just curious about what kind of track she would’ve taken if it did happen. Focus on getting into college/grades/extracurriculars? Drugs? Teenage pregnancy (or scares here and there)? She’d obviously have a completely new group of friends, unless she and Laine managed to make up. I just reread Stacey and the Bad Girls for the first time since I was a kid, and I’d forgotten what a follower (for lack of a better word) she was in that one.
