Characters That Are Feared and Glazed Despite Being Losers

(There are no manga spoilers in this post, but please keep in mind to spoiler mark anything from the JJK manga you talk about.)

Characters that lose most if not all of their fights, but are still genuinely respected and renowned both in-universe and in real life.

Normally, this astronomical feat is achieved due to characters just having awful match ups, or the sheer amount of effort you have to put in to defeat them. Jujutsu Kaisen has several of these characters, like Jogo, to varying degrees of respect for the losers. One of the top examples of this is Mahoraga, AKA Big Raga, the Opp Stopper.

Mahoraga's first and only fight in the anime involves him in an extended fight with series badass Sukuna. Long story short, Sukuna wins with little difficulty due to his intellect and power, and taking next to no damage during the entire encounter. However, Mahoraga's presentation and abilities were such that everyone watching knew how strong he truly was, even in defeat.

Basically, Mahoraga is a powerful creature in his base state, but can adapt to any and all phenomena he encounters the more he experiences it. His adaptation alters his body to be able to endure attacks better, and gives him new abilities better suited for fighting his opponent. The only way to defeat him is by using an attack so powerful that it kills him in one shot completely, or he will adapt to it and it won't work. He is defeated by one of the most powerful and destructive attacks in the entire series from one of the strongest characters.

Even in defeat, Mahoraga's reputation in JJK is legendary. It probably has a lot to due with presentation and the anime going crazy hard for his episode, but he's still a character whose aura was completely untouched (if not enhanced) after suffering a one-sided loss.
