Will I be ok wearing swim trunks with visible top surgery scars?
I'm just kinda generally uninformed about the state of LGBTQ rights in Myrtle Beach. I don't want to cause anyone discomfort, but I'd like to have the ability to swim on the beach in clothes that are comfortable. I have a very male passing chest and from a distance I don't think anyone would have anything to say, but I'd just like to minimize any potential harassment if I can. LGBTQ+ residents, fellow tourists, and general friends and allies, how likely is it that I could be confronted, and what could I do to avoid an altercation besides what I already intend to do - stay away from strangers and travel with my crew when getting in and out of the water? I could conceivably cover up w a towel/sit on my stomach otherwise. (If it helps, we're situated on a slightly less populated part of the beach on a resort)
