pcie x8 to pcie x16

I bought a gigabyte windforce oc rtx 5060 ti, and it physically has an x8 slot. However, my motherboard (gigabyte b760m gaming plus wifi) has x16 physically, and i cannot for the life of me find a male x16 to female x8 adapter. Solutions? I'm stumped :/
