Whirlpool Dishwasher New Not working

I recently purchased a home and it came with a brand new never used whirlpool dishwasher. stupidly i didn’t check if it was working through final walkthrough and didn’t find out until i moved in that it is not working. I have power to it and the lights work but just blink 3 times fast when pushed. I tried turning the breaker off for various amounts of time and haven’t had luck. i pulled out and checked wiring and all seems good. has anyone had a similar experience or a tech that knows what this may be.
