Student loans after July 31st (UBC)

I was trying to get my banking set up before applying for student loans and I didn’t realize July 31st was the deadline to receive a payment deferral. I know it’s not the deadline to apply for loans, but I’m assuming I’m gonna have to pay my term one fees/tuition in September out of pocket? And then I’ll be reimbursed later on? If anyone knows for sure, please let me know. Thanks
