No options left, should I use some of my loan offers for a car?
Hey guys! So I’m only taking 2 classes for the fall semester due to working full time. My car broke down completely and the repair costs aren’t worth it at all, I’ve already dumped so much money into it already. My school is 13 miles away and my boyfriend has been getting me around everywhere.
I’m thinking about using my loan offer to buy a used car all my classes and tuition are paid for by my grants and scholarships and one of my scholarships would cover supplies. I also have a 5,000 grand grant that would be put into it and a heavy refund so essentially I would be using the 4,000 from the loan as well. I’ve seen a few stories on here pretty much saying that I wouldn’t get caught since it’s not a private loan and they don’t track it. I literally can’t take public transportation because my city doesn’t have it and where my college is kinda far 10 miles and I can’t drop my courses.
The car I’m gonna buy is from my uncle who runs his own dealership so he’s trustworthy. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I know the loan would have to be paid back I’m not worried about it because I’m studying nursing and that’s a very reputable career.
