How many credit cards do you have & how many is TOO many?

I have 8 credit cards. 4 of them I haven’t used in months all at 0 balance. I’m considering closing them as I don’t see a need to have them anymore and I feel like I have too many credit cards. I’d like to know how many everyone else has & if you’ve ever willingly closed any?
