Float switch tripping, or something else?
Took a nap earlier and woke up feeling sweaty. I walked by the thermostat and noticed it was reading 77. I had it set on 75. About 5 minutes later I walked by again and it was reading 75.
I then took my digital thermometer and stuck it in the registers. It was reading 56, which is normal. So I didn't think nothing of it.
Maybe an hour later it started getting warm again. First thing I did was stick the digital thermometer in the registers. It was blowing 76, not normal.
Went outside and the small copper line was cool and the air blowing from the condenser was cool. I know both of those should feel warm respectively.
I grabbed my shop vac thinking maybe the drain line was backed up. Sucked it out and gave it 5 minutes.
Currently as I write this, the small copper line was warm and the condenser was blowing warm air again. The registers are blowing 56 again.
This just a case of water backing up in the line, or potentially something else?
