First tattoo on forearm - 6 hours with dermatographia

Hi Reddit Fam!

I'm 36 years old getting my first tattoo on my inner forearm. I suffer from dermatographia so my skin will flare up with a simple scratch. I've informed my artist about this as well.

My artist informed me that my tattoo will take about 6 hours to complete. He suggested since its my first tattoo, to split the session in two with 3 hours each.

I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos, researching pain tolerance, and what to kind of expect however, I wanted to ask on here what to expect pain wise in the inner forearm area.

A lot of shading and detail is involved in my tattoo design.
