AITA if I don't get my husband a bday gift?

My husband birthday is today and ive made him a cake and got his favorite food today. My birthday was last month and he only gave me a card. A couple days ago we were out on the town and I bought him a hat that seem to really like. But I just dont feel like I should get him a big present when there wasnt much effort on his side.
