The forest hummed with life and the translucent water droplets filled the entire area with a sweet, earthy smell. As the droplets continued to fall overhead, a pair of women sat together on the landing ramp of a damaged and rather old looking vessel. One was dressed in a mechanic outfit with a grease stained tank top, slightly baggy pants, and work boots while the other was in an all black bodysuit with built in stiletto heels and fingerless gloves. Both looked pretty rough and both knew that they were in a tough situation. They had been asleep for 500 years in stasis pods aboard the ship they were sitting on. The two had been woken up by an unknown figure and now they were dealing with a major situation. "So, you believe it," the engineer asked. The other shook her head. "Honest answer, no. But I'm not so sure if that's because it's unbelievable or because I simply don't want to. I mean, the idea that the EIA survived in any capacity is insane. What do you make of it," she asked the engineer. "I don't know. But if we want answers, it sounds like we need to follow the smoke," the engineer answered. The other woman nodded and remarked "I suppose that means we need to power up the rest of the systems." The engineer smiled and the two women entered their ship, walking back to the main room and then a bit further to a metal disk where a suit of armor was waiting. The suit was perfectly fitted for the black suited woman, and she carefully ran a hand along the armor. "Nervous," the engineer asked. "A little bit. It's been years since the Nightreign has been activated. Don't even know if it'll even run like it used to," she answered. The engineer smiled and walked over, wrapping her arms around her partner's waist. "It'll be ok. I'll be in your ear the whole time. Promise," she said. The woman nodded and pressed a spot on the suit's chest. There was a low hiss and she stepped forward while turning around. The suit recognized the woman and an automated voice loudly intoned "please hold for startup diagnostics and pilot biometric scan." The engineer logged into a terminal and the voice intoned once more "identity confirmed. Dianna Rhodes, IPDC Engineering Corps First Lieutenant. Access confirmed." The other woman smiled as the suit's voice stated "pilot identity confirmed. Iris Vecla, IPDC Star Corps Captain. Access confirmed." "Link to access suit and authorize full manual control," Iris ordered. Dianna sat at her terminal and booted up the ship's systems as the suit of armor began to link to Iris' outfit. The armor was made from nanotechnology and it was bonding to the suit so that on Iris' command, it would activate. The suit finished dematerializing and within moments, Iris was standing on the platform, her armor ready to reappear in an instant. "The suit fused to you perfectly. I need time to reconfigure the ship's system before we can try to lift off, but I did get the Puma online. You can use that to traverse the forest, and I'll meet you at the destination once I can fire up the ship's engines without any problems. Oh and if you can, see if you can find out how long we've been asleep. It'll help me calibrate the star-charts," Dianna said. "Got it it. Be careful ok," Iris said. "You too," Dianna responded. Iris jogged back to the cargo hold where she found a special military ATV waiting. She powered it up as her helmet formed around her head. The platform spun around she drove down the ramp, ready to face the unknowns of the planet. She knew little about Earth, having spent most of her life in the stars or on other worlds throughout the origin system. After three hours, she reached a small overlook and saw a city made from the scraps of a wrecked EIA destroyer. As she drove in and stopped near a large fire, the hooded figure who had woken up her and her partner smiled. Some civilians gathered a the figure spoke. "My friends, I told you that a pilot of the old war slept in the forest. And now she stands before us. Welcome pilot. You have come to get answers yes," they said. Iris nodded, not reaching for weapons but deactivating her helmet. "Are they on the rise again," she asked. The figure nodded. "The Exilus Imperial Armada has been hidden in the reaches of the unknown. And now, they have returned to take the origin system. You fought them once and won. Now you are the last of the dreamers, so the task of defeating them once more falls to you. Are you prepared for this task," the figure asked. Iris nodded and let out a shaky sigh. This wasn't good at all. She knew what had to be done. She stepped forward and let her suit appear, every part of it ready to fight. "I would say we have our answer. There is a refinery fifteen clicks north. The EIA have been using it to mine resources to build themselves new ships. You know what to do," the figure intoned. Iris nodded and mounted her Puma once more, ready to fight.

It's time to wake up dreamers! The origin system is in danger and we need to save it. You play as IPDCEC First Lieutenant Dianna Rhodes, an engineering genius who like my character, IPDCSC Captain Iris Vecla has been in stasis for the past 500 years, long past the end of the old war where the Exilus Imperial Armada was supposedly defeated. I say supposedly because well, now they're back and preparing themselves for war against the origin system. They know, or at least firmly believe that will in the past the SARC defeated them, they won't do it this time. It's up to Iris and Dianna to uncover the secrets of how the EIA survived, and stop them completely. Two women against an entire armada? Well hey, wouldn't be the first crazy thing they've done. Get ready for an action packed world building RP where two women's love for each other, and their skills will have to save the origin system from annihilation.
