my partner (19mb) has been deleting stuff from our texts and i (17nb) need advice

i dont really know why but, hes been deleting things like images from our texts, namely their face among other things, and i don't know how to bring it up or mention it because i mean, it's not really an issue but its just weird, like it feels like they don't trust me with those images for some reason or like. i dont know really but it rubs me the wrong way

i only noticed bc i was going through our old texts and noticed that they deleted some images that i vividly remember being there (and had responded to the images as well), for all i know, they could've deleted more and i'd be none the wiser. im just really confused and i don't know how to approach them on this, and i dont really have any friends i feel close enough to mention this too :'(
