acne help

guys so like ive been getting acne for like 3 years now and before, it was just on my forehead, but it moved to my cheeks around 2 years ago and like it’s been a problem ever since. apparently its hormonal and i went to the derma and she told me to use doxycycline for a few months alongside with tret and a skincare routine. i didnt go back because it was mad expensive, so i stopped doxycycline after the months but kept in with tret. it iddnt take long and my acne came back, and so i took doxy again, but i stopped because i didn’t want to rely on it the rest of the year, and seriously, it’s getting worse. my skin was already clearing up months ago but now, im back to where i started, and its seriously ruining my confidence big time. all my friends and classmates have the clearest skin and i look so horrid.
