Dumb-phone is the way. I love it!

General discussion

I've been lurking on this subreddit for quite a while but couldn't really make the step to actually 'downgrade' to a dumb-phone.

Until 2 weeks ago. I finally made the decision to buy a Nokia 2660. And it's definitely an upgrade! I'm still available for friends if they really need me but I do not get constant urges anymore to grab my phone and scroll doomlessely for no benefit. I really feel, even in only the last 2 weeks, life has become more relaxed! I feel like I sleep better (cause I can't use my phone at night anymore) and I feel more connected with friends when I'm seeing them in real life or calling with them instead of texting or being together and still grabbing your phone.

On a fair note; I have a Chromebook on which I installed WhatsApp so I'm still available by text. But this is mainly because I need it for my job and I also have quite a lot of international friends with whom I can't really call because of the expensive services. But everybody knows I only respond on WhatsApp when I'm at home; and so far everyone is really supportive of it actually!

So for anyone of you who is still doubting; give it a shot and I'm pretty sure it will change your life!
