Jellyfish??

Yo, Galveston friends. We are a Fort Worth family that visits for a week at the end of every summer and I don't remember the jellies being this prevalent. Am I imagining that? Are there more in certain areas? Wife and kids got stung pretty bad this afternoon. Our rental is close to the Isla del Sol water tower west of Jamaica Beach.
