Page Templates / Trying to Print....

I'm a 20 yr music teacher that could use Finale successfully with my eyes closed. Ok, got that off my chest...

Simply trying to print.

I click Engrave

Under page templates - I have a default, and a first.

I double click on First, so I can edit the look. HOWEVER when I'm in there, all of the edits I make to the Left hand page end up applying to the RIGHT hand page. Did I screw something up and swap them somehow? Should the SECOND page be DEFAULT?

So frustrated. Finale just worked. Just trying to make parts for kids.
