I got rejected for the first time tonight, and it was weirdly great?
I (27m) have never asked a women on a date before, as I'm terrified of rejection.
However, I was playing mini-golf with my parents earlier, and on the way out, a women my age started talking to me.
At first, I thought it was regular customer service work, trying to get me buying stuff, but after a 5 minute conversation, I realized it wasn't.
She mentioned that her shift ended at 11, so I asked if she wanted to grab drinks.
She technically rejected me, but it felt great to realize that it's not as scary as I thought.
I haven't felt this proud of myself in a long time.
