Google Voice (Business) in EU/UK - number stuck on "Pending assignment"

I've set up Google Voice for my workspace and for two weeks now I'm waiting for the phone number to be assigned to a single user. Google Support claims there's an ongoing EU/UK outage, but not only can I not find a single bit of information about it (their status pages don't mention it), after two weeks my patience is admittedly starting to run a bit low.

I was curious if there's anyone in the EU/UK (or specifically Germany) regions able to currently assign numbers via Google Voice?
