Cycle of birth for Individual, Cycle of Yuga for Individuals collective

Question - General

Human BEINGS are combination of two contrasting entities—The Physical and The Spiritual. This is known from the fact that anyone can manifest spiritual qualities [such as wisdom, purity, love, joy, peace, bliss, propriety, power to reason, power to withdraw from any temptation and look within, power to discriminate and judge, power to face/tolerate, power to cooperate/adapt etc] in varying degrees if they want to. These immaterial, immeasurable qualities are not emergent feature of meat which is material and measurable and tends to turn into trash at the exit of the Immaterial. People have experienced that this Immaterial Soul still works when body is at rest, independent of body, which means it can exist with or without body! (More details here: https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkatives/s/59g52hKdwZ) Hence it is natural that Soul would take another body when the present one is no longer useful due to accident/age.

No Remembrance About Details of Past Lives—For a Reason

One can say “If there is an eye, it should see everything” which may sound logical. But eyes see only what is needed. Many organisms existing even in the eye itself are not visible to eye. For example, “microbiomes are communities of organisms including bacteria, fungi and viruses that live on and inside our bodies.” (aao .org) Soul [that designed such eyes with such feature] manifests such feature, thus remembers only what is needed for present life. If a Soul remembers all details such as “wife/husband of its neighbor was its wife/husband in the previous birth … etc,” it will disturb the smooth unfolding of Drama of Life! Person who was a murderer in the past birth would not want his Surgeon to remember him as his murderer in his previous birth. Yet there are exceptions of people who remembered certain details of their past life, depending upon their karmic account. (Google: lifeafterlife .com, website of Dr. Raymond Moody who examined many reincarnation cases) This concept comes naturally to anyone who uses his birth-right to define himself, like Voltaire who said: “It is not more surprising to be born twice than once.” Such an eternal Soul passes through a cycle of five stages—Childhood, Youth, Adult, Old Age and Fetal Phase. And cycle repeats!

Stages of Individual Resemble Stages of Yuga

When Kaliyuga [Iron Age] reaches its peak of decay, Supreme Soul sows seed by restoring forgotten truths which generate satvic [spiritual] qualities in willing humans (Bhagavat Gita 4:1, 7, 8) which is like hidden embryonic growth of Satyuga [Golden Age of Truth] in the concluding phase of Kaliyuga. This restoration period is like Leap Age that bridges two Yugas. Such transformed golden-aged people become seed for Golden Age where their virtues would flow with ease. Later, after many centuries, their virtues flow with struggle which is called Treta Yuga [Silver Age]. When their virtues further decline, they fall into conditional mind-set: “If you love me I will also love, if you hurt me I will also hurt you,” like trade-mentality of two (dvi)—ME the more important and the OTHER the less important—which is called Dvapara Yuga [Copper Age]. Later, this phase further declines to become conflicted (Kalaha) phase, called Kali Yuga [Iron Age] characterized by sorrow and complaining. And cycle repeats!

The same truth exists in the West too, but in low profile

Concept of individual living through new bodies was believed by very important Biblical figures like King Solomon, Job [who are from prosperity-background], Jesus and his contemporary Jews etc. (Wisdom of Solomon 8:20; 9:15; Job 1:21, KJV, Luke 12:5; 1 John 2:17; Mathew 16:13, 14; 11:7-15) It means, Soul passes through a cycle of five stages—Childhood, Youth, Adult, Old Age and Fetal Phase. And cycle repeats!

Similarly, history passing through five stages (Golden, Silver, Brass, Iron, Clay) was shown in a God-given vision in the Bible too (Daniel 2:32, 33, 34) which will finally meet God’s Kingdom (Daniel 2:44) when Iron Age reaches its peak of decay, when earth becomes polluted (Revelation 11:18; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; 4:3, 4) and unlivable due to global wars (Revelation 16:14, 16). During such Last Generation, many millions will lose their hope in the short-sighted technology [that polluted this earth] and in the rulers [who are leading the world into a Final World War] and will choose to be remade in the image of God. (Isaiah 2:2-4). Such transformed ones are symbolized by “clay” being molded in the hands of “potter” the Almighty (Isaiah 64:8) which is like hidden Age of transformation. Thus they become the seed for the New Age (Mathew 24:21, 22; Revelation 7:14) whose first quarter is Golden Age which thereafter repeats, as Jesus compared each Age with “a seed” (Mathew 13:31, 32; 12:32) symbol of eternal cycle of GROWTH and DECAY.  The above concept is often missed because very important Book that speaks about ETERNAL universe, ETERNAL drama of life etc exists in the middle of the Bible. Its name is Ecclesiastes written by Solomon, who is so important that Jesus preferred to call himself as “Greater Solomon” (Luke 11:31) as he wanted to further intensify what Solomon taught. Cycle of New Age and Old Age (Ecclesiastes 1:4, 9, 10) happens under the purifying power of God because of which HE is called “King of Ages” (1 Timothy 1:17, ESV) and His throne is described as “a blazing fire with fiery wheels (גַּלְגַּל galgal).” (Daniel 7:9) The same word is used in Ecclesiastes 12:6 by Solomon in the sense of “wheel” used to draw water from well. Solomon had deep intimacy with God to the extent he could say “the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment will ever touch them.” (Wisdom of Solomon 3:1; Proverbs 16:7) He credited God as the true source of his knowledge. (Wisdom of Solomon 7:17)

In having such infinite view of life, life is felt light and everything that happens is pleasantly accepted as consequence of action chosen in the past immediate or distant.
