applytexas activities section - WHY SO SHORT

hii so i'm trying to apply to a few schools in TX via the applytexas app (im oos) & feel like the character limit is SOOO strict like omg. its 80 characters max for activities descriptions, and there's no separation between organization and title of activity like the common app does -- it's all one section!!! a bunch of my activities have long names (lol) or are associated w orgs w long names (lol) so ts is rlly quite frustrating. i don't want to overuse any acronyms either, so i'm kind of at a loss.

does anyone who has experience w this portal have any advice for how they worked w these constraints? anything wld be appreciated 🙌
